The RPG Maker Tileset Builder is designed to help people arrange the tilesets that came with RPG Maker into tilesets that better suit their game. It can also take custom tileset pieces and help integrate them into completed tilesets. When selecting a folder, you need to select the base folder for that maker, and not any folders inside it. The tileset builder is usable without configuring any of these folders, but you will be limited to the Custom MV and Custom VX Ace folders. The Custom MV and Custom VX Ace settings load off of custom tiles folders, found in the directory with the Tileset Builder application. Inside there is an AceRTP and MVRTP folder. Each type of tileset has a subfolder in these, and graphics files of single tile blocks go in each. There are graphics provided in these folders as an example of what the system expects when these graphics are loaded in. There aren't many, but you can use them if you wish.įrom there, the program should be fairly intuitive to use - select the type of tileset you want to make, and left-click to place tiles, right click to remove them. #8 BIT TILESET RPG MAKER XV WINDOWS 10#.SNES and NES games(not Nintendo or Sega) are mostly abandware at this point. You guys in the RPG Maker community come off way to harsh on this stuff imho. there's no way the artist would care nor even know if you used it for the purpose the OP is intending. That tileset will not be of use unless you can get every tile without a white space in between. But of course it's not right legally, but as a continuing developer of my own Metroid fangame I support you Irish. You see them knocking Nintendo because it was still a project by a single guy that may have used assets but also changed the game in a unique way.
